Renewed Hope, but a Breaking Heart, Nonetheless

It's funny, my hope continues to grow that Moonbeam will come home someday, but my heart is breaking in new pieces, knowing that I still have no concrete idea of when. In fact, I really don't know that we are anywhere near closer to a date than we have been in months. As November looms closer (October starts in two days, after all), I am reminded of just how little news or movement happened in November and December last year - so many holidays and days off.
We need a breakthrough, Lord.

AMEN, Kimberly! I have absolutely resigned myself to the fact that these kids are not coming home in 2009. There is just know way that, even if a positive decision is made soon, the turtle's pace is going to allow for processing of 65 children's adoptions. That said, I think the recent reports and "promises" are reason to celebrate. I truly believe that within the next 6 months beautiful Kyrgyz children will be flooding into this great country! Hang in there.

Kimberly, I'm sorry that you're feeling down about things. There is new hope, it happened last week. Call me and I'll fill you in on the details if you haven't seen the group posts yet. Friday is supposed to be another day of movement...according to my agency, the PM is supposed to meet with Parialment to discuss IA and the pending cases. And, after my brief conversation with the PM last week, I'm feeling confident that the kids will be with loving families soon!

Sending hugs out west,

Pamela
