Springtime in the Rockies

Syd the snow angel

The deck and my favorite tree - the Blue Spruce.

I wish I had some fabulous news to share about Hannah's homecoming, but alas, the wait continues. We aren't likely to hear much more before the second week of April - and I'm probably being hopeful.
So, anywho, while we wait...I heard on the news last night that so far this year we have had just under two inches of snow and the norm is 26 inches! Well, today we are trying to catch up! It's hard to tell exactly how much we've had, but I would guess it's somewhere in the neighborhood of 10 inches and it's not supposed to stop snowing until sometime tomorrow am. Of course, it will likely all melt before the weekend is over. It's supposed to be in the 50's on Saturday. Never a dull moment around here.

I always thought Colorado was snowier! Hmmm...another thing learned. I think we're at about 140 inches for the season - after the first 100 you just stop counting. :) Looks so pretty there, though!
